After the success of the Manchester workshop earlier this year, we are pleased to release details of our next workshop outside of Leicester.

We have been asked to organise one in York and after some research we found a suitable venue just outside.

The venue is:-

The Rural Arts Centre

The  Old Courthouse

4 Westgate

The day will be broken in to 3 sessions

1. Large saxophone choir

2. Small groups and performance

3. Improvisation and performance

The day is open to anyone aged 11 upwards (adults very welcome) and with 12 Months playing experience.  Registration opens at 9.30am and we start playing at 10am and finishing at 3pm with 30 minutes for lunch.  cost of the day is £30 per person, this does not include lunch.

The site has a free car park and on site Cafe for lunch.

We would love to hear from anyone that would like to join us for the day and take part in the fun and challenging music making.

You can contact me either here or or 07736 471861.

Check out our Facebook page StaxofSax for videos and pictures of previous events.

Look forward to hearing from you
