Sheila is the mum of one of my students and she had asked If I could play at her wedding reception at the Rose and Crown in Thurnby.  She also asked if her son could do a couple of numbers with me.  Lewis and I worked on ‘can you feel the love tonight’ as a solo and ‘Crazy little thing called love’ as a duet.

The wedding reception had a 1940’s feel to it and went very well.  Lewis stood up to play the solo and without his knowledge his mum and stepdad made it their first dance, No Pressure Lewis!  he did very well.  It was good to see people up dancing too.

I dont think I have seen so many cakes at a wedding before, but all looked delicious and people seemed to be tucking in very nicely.

I finished at 9 and handed over to the disco for him to keep the party atmosphere going.

Thanks for asking me Sheila and Nigel, all the best
