I thoroughly enjoyed today as it was a two gig day, and I’ve not had one of those for a while.

Started off at the Briars Residential home in Sandown, always a great atmosphere there and a lovely bunch of people to play for. We had some dancers and plenty of singing from both residents and staff.

I also managed to cover 2 out of the 3 requests from one lady, I have started work on learning the 3rd one for next time.

After lunch it was over to Solent Grange at Wootton Bridge for my regular session with Ali and Leah and the residents there.

A lot more dancing and a good old singalong session too, these guys do love a bit of Rock and Roll to finish the afternoon off.

Tomorrow, I am off to Blackwater Mill near Newport to entertain the Ladies and Gents there for the afternoon, so I will report back on that later.

If you would like a chat about what I can offer for your residents or social club, please feel free to get in touch for a chat.

Many thanks

Dave

I had a lovely morning visiting and playing to the residents at the Solent Grange Nursing Home today.

They all had tea and cake whilst I played a few songs, then with help from the activity coordinator, we had a sing along session with everyone taking part.

we had a good chat about the music as we went along, and lots of residents firing back answers to my questions.

Everyone enjoyed themselves, and hopefully I will be visiting them again next month for more musical fun and shenanigans.

Thank you for having me.

Dave

I am in the middle of putting together a mini musical tour from the 15th to the 18th of February 2018.

Confirmed gigs are at the Isle of Wight Leonard Cheshire home, The Gouldings Care Home in Freshwater and Byrnhill Grove Care Home in Ventnor, and I am awaiting confirmation of a possible fourth gig.   This is one of my favourite type of  gigs to play at, lots of singing and joining in and loads of smiling faces.  What more could I ask for?

If anyone is looking for some musical entertainment over these dates, there is still plenty of space for you, so why not get in touch.

thanks

Dave
