Hi Folks

I just wanted to wish every one a happy and healthy new year for 2016.

2015 was a good year for me, with a record number of gigs played over the last 12 months.  This included joining up with the guys from Folk Foundasian ( Folk Foundasian sax trio  ) which has been a really good experience and a great learning curve for me.

I have played at some lovely venues this year including Langar Hall in Nottingham, Curradine Barns in Shrawley, a 50th wedding anniversary party in Portsmouth and Hinckley Classis car show to name but a few.

The new year starts with more confirmed gigs in the diary than ever before, and lots of projects in the pipeline, including starting work on recording a cd.

If you would like to chat about any events that you have coming up, then please drop me a line and I will come back to you as soon as possible.

Best wishes

Dave

On Saturday 22nd of August I played at Keythorpe Manor in Leicestershire as part of the celebrations for the wedding of Victoria and Ashley.
Keythorpe Manor is a beautiful house in stunning surroundings. The views are magnificent over looking the Leicestershire and Rutland countryside.
The ceremony took place in the Oak Barn which has been tastefully converted for this purpose.  I played on the patio as the guests arrived and after the ceremony in the garden for drinks for a little while, after which, I handed over to a very talented vocalist called Tabitha who entertained everyone for an hour. By this time the sun was beginning to make its presence felt.
The wedding breakfast was inside one of the biggest marquees I have seen, which was nice because everyone had plenty of room and it was very tastefully decorated with lovely flower arrangements. I played during the meal and afterwards as everyone chatted and caught up with friends and family.
Victoria and Ashley had thought of everything, right down to flipflops for the ladies and an ice cream cart keeping their guests cool and comfortable.
All through the day both Victoria and Ashley had huge smiles on their faces and seemed to enjoying the whole day.

I would like to say thank you to Victoria and Ashley for asking me to be part of their big day and wish them all the best for their future together.

Ps I would also like to thank everyone at Keythorpe Manor for making me feel welcome too.
