Whenever I exhibit at a wedding fayre, I always have a wander around to see how people are promoting  their business and felt that my stand was a bit dated and bland.

I have spent sometime working on a new design that sits in an A4 picture frame on my stand.  The caption ‘Music Makes the Moment’ was given to me by my daughter Hannah, along with the colourful saxophone image.

So this is what I have come up with, simple, not too busy and straight forward.  Ignore the outline marks around the saxophone, they only show up on a Jpeg and not on the design in the frame (I have no idea why?)

What do you think?  Would you stop for a chat? Let me know.

Easter Sunday saw me loading the car for a drive out to Dodford Manor in Northamptonshire. This was not a social trip but I had been asked to play at the wedding of Becky and Daniel.

The Weddings at Dodford Manor are held in a beautifully restored brick barn with all mod cons, also but with lots of  character.

The weather stayed fine for the couple and after the service I played for the guests entertainment whilst they had a drink and a catchup before the reception.

I would like to say thanks to the Grooms mum for the action shot photo, the rest I took with my phone.  I certainly enjoyed my self and with some of the guests having a bit of a dance and with loads of lovely comments, I believe the family and guests did too.

If you are looking for a wedding venue in the Northamptonshire area,

then Dodford Manor is Certainly worth visiting.

The view from the Balcony at Jeremy and Julies Wedding.

The view from the Balcony at Jeremy and Julies Wedding.

I was invited to play at Jeremy and Julies wedding reception after they heard me busk in Market Harborough during the summer.

The weather held off for them in the afternoon at the Congregational Church Hall  in Market Harborough and I played whilst the guests had a drink and the bride and groom had their pictures taken.

They asked me to play in the gallery overlooking the hall and they had provided a small stage so that I could be seen over the top of the gallery front.

It was a lovely relaxed event with a Hog Roast and buffet for sustenance and this was the start of my second session.

The Bride looked lovely and the Groom and their two sons looked very smart in full wedding suits.

I would like to say thank you to Jeremy and Julie for asking me and also to everyone for the lovely comments after.  I Hope that you enjoy your short break away and look forward to an Happy and Peaceful Christmas

regards

Dave
