Yesterday I wrote an article about the Saxophone play day here on the Isle of Wight, Well todays post is about another play day on the North Island (mainland)
This is hosted by the Phoenix Saxophone Orchestra who I know a few of their members personally and have played with them in various bands over the years.
They are hosting a workshop that is being led by their patron Gerard McChrystal (Professor of Saxophone at Trinity College of Music, London, and also teaches at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama, Cardiff.) who I have also met a few times.
He is a phenomenal player and educator and if you are free that day, my advice is to get along there and have a great day.
