On Saturday last Folk Foundasian played at a wedding in Derby at a Venue called the Roundhouse. This is a very old building with a fascinating history. It was were locomotives were brought to be repaired and turned around to go in different directions.
They have kept a lot of the old features in place which gives a great ambiance to the venue.
Hiten provided music for the ceremony and the drinks reception during the day, and Trush and I joined him for the evening Wedding meal.
A mixture of Bollywood and Indian folk tunes plus western jazz pop and funk was the order of the day musically, and we had great fun playing it for everyone and loads of positive comments and enquiries for future musical events.
