So with both of Saturdays gigs completed, I thought I would let you know how they went.
The first was part of a wedding celebration with family guests arriving from all over the world for a meal and a social gathering.
My collection of Indian songs went down well, especially Tum Hi Ho. This is a beautiful tune with some very loving lyrics.
There were lots of nice comments and  a chat about a possible event in London.
The second gig was an engagement party taking place in San Carlo’s restaurant in Leicester.  This has a really nice function room that easily held the 140 guests.
The event involved a mixture of sax playing and background music throughout the evening. 
It was nice to catch up with a previous Client who came and made himself known.
Yet again the Indian tunes were well received and compliments were freely given.
Every one seemed to enjoy themselves with more compliments about the music and another enquiry about future  bookings.
All in all a busy but fun weekend.  I do enjoy my job.
