I was asked to dep with my old big band, Brass Wind and Fire based in Kibworth, as their current Baritone sax player was away.

This was a great opportunity for me to give the bari a big honk as it only gets used occasionally and to do a whole gig on it is great fun

Saddington held a fund raising event of a 40’s night to raise money for the church roof.  The residents did themselves proud.  The church was decorated with bunting and memorabilia from the period and most people dressed up.  The food that was laid on included a hog roast and loads of home made desserts yum!

The dance floor was full most of the evening and a good time was had by all.  Th village raised nearly £1000 with all their hard work which is a brilliant effort.

I really had a good time and it was good to catch up with old friends again, and if you need me again folks please give me a call.
