The workshops are developing really well, we have been running them for over a year now, with 8 so far. They all differ slightly as we received feedback from students and take that on board. This has led to playing small as well as large ensemble stuff and improvisation sessions and bringing in outside players to run this so that students get to hear other styles and tones.
Well this is leading to workshop number 9. This is on Thursday the 29th December at the Salvation Army hall in South Wigston, Leicestershire.
It will consist of large and small group playing and improvisation session with Nick Hislam again.
Not only is it a good days playing, but its a very social day with lots of friendships being made, meeting fellow sax players and finding out what they do with their music making.
We already have 9 places booked on this event, including 2 new players, we would love to meet more of you and spread the saxophone word as far as we can.
The day is open to groups and individuals aged 11 years upwards, with a minimum of 12 months playing experience.
Please contact me if you would like more details or to reserve your place either on 07736 471861 or staxofsax@gmail.com
Looking forward to seeing you soon
regards
Dave
