Well today was my first attempt at busking. I played for nearly 2 hours in Leicester city centre. I started about 8.45am, which is a bit early but wanted to get warmed up before the bigger crowds.

It was great fun and I will certainly be doing it again. The only reason I stopped was because of the rain. I would probably have done another hour if the weather had stayed fine.

I had some very nice comments about the music and went through my list of tunes twice. I am going to look for some more tunes to add to my folder.

I found that my playing got more relaxed as the morning went on and I started to mess with the tunes a bit more, which is something that I have always lacked confidence in doing.

My little amp that I bought to play at a friends wedding did its job very well, the only down side to the day was having to pay £4.30 to park. I am looking into cheaper options for that.

So if you have thought about it but never gathered your nerves, I say just go for it, its good fun.
