The date has been decided, the venue booked and the next StaxofSax workshop is under way. The date is the 29th of December and the venue is Trinity Methodist Church hall, Oadby, Leicester.
We have made a few minor changes based on feedback. They include the parts being sent out in time for people to have a look at them before the event. (we also hope to send out midi files, so that you can hear what they sound like, but this depends on technology and my handling of it!). We have shortened the lunch break to allow more playing time. Both of these things will help us complete more pieces during the day.
Also after lunch we will have a Q & A session about technique and problems that we may be able to help with. If people want to send the questions in before hand that would be helpful so that we can give a detailed answer. We also plan to put the Q & A on to a pdf and send out after the day for reference purposes.
We have kept the cost of the day at £30 per delegate and hope that you can join us for a fun and challenging blow, to clear the cobwebs out, or show off your new toys that Santa has brought for you.
